Types Of Printing

CAD-CUT Vinyl

CAD-CUT Vinyl is the traditional transfer material. Your design, text or numbers cut out of heat-activated vinyl to create a look similar to screen printing. This is typically the most cost effective material in the heat transfer category. Vinyl comes in a wide array of colors and finishes including holographic, metallic, reflective and more. This method has a medium hand feel which can have a matte or glossy appearance depending on the material.

Digital Transfers

Digital transfers are digitally printed vinyl to offer an option for full color designs. This is the best way to convey a photo-realistic design or anything in full color. Similar to cad-cut vinyl you will have a medium hand feel as the vinyl is applied to the surface of the fabric. Digital transfers are priced by size, so this is more cost effective with smaller graphics such as left chest placement or the front of foam trucker caps.

Screen Print Transfers

Screen print transfers marry the world between screen printing and heat transfers. Designs are printed traditionally onto carrier sheets then can be applied to garments using heat. This is an extra step, but it opens more doors for tricky placements and fabrics. Screen print transfers are typically very soft and come in a wide array of colors and specialty inks are also available.
